Braque's Illusion

The Cubist painter Georges Braque created a new paradigm for art by giving the illusion of volume and space through various intertwined planes. Lending his name to this screen, each element is made from hammered sheets of brass welded together by hand, then inlaid with semi-precious stones to create depth through texture and composition.
